How long does it take?
–The hayride is over 2 miles in length and is approximately 30-45 minutes, the corn maze is 4.5 plus acres and can take anywhere from 25 minutes to over an hour.
Do you accept groups?
–Yes, we accept groups and have 48-hour advance notice online group discount pricing available as well. If you don’t register online that is fine, we can still accommodate groups up to 30 to be able to fit comfortably on a wagon together, the corn maze we will split you up into smaller groups to initially enter the maze.
Where is WCH?
–Our address is 3851 Wood Creek Rd Rome NY near locks 21 & 22. Turn off of route 49 on Wood Creek Road and go roughly 2.25 miles and Wood Creek Hollow is on the right-hand side of the road, the second driveway. See also our Directions Page.
Is there parking available?
–There is an onsite parking lot that is one acre with additional parking on the side of the road, be careful of the ditches, some are deep and steep.
How can I become a cast member?
–Check out our join our team tab on the home page. We are all volunteers and have many positions available including scene and field scare actors, yard attendants, parking, carnival games and more.
Can I bring my kids?
–Kids are welcome, parents are to use their best judgement as we recommend it is not for children under the age of 13. We do have more kid-oriented events – check our event calendar for specifics
When should I arrive?
–We recommend to arrive as close to the opening of the ticket booth and Crypt Keepers Courtyard to beat the lines. Times listed on the calendar under the event calendar tab on the home page. The first wagon is anticipated to leave around 7-7:15 pm.
Can I participate if I’m pregnant?
–We recommend seeking your medical professional’s opinion in regards to attending our attractions.
Do you accept credit cards?
–At this time we do not accept any payment other than cash, we are still working to accept cards for the 2019 season.
Is the Crypt Keeper Courtyard free?
–The Crypt Keepers Courtyard is free with the purchase to one of our attractions.
Am I allowed to bring my dog or pets?
–Pets are not allowed on property unless they are service animals with proper documented paperwork presented upon entrance.
What should I wear?
–Dependent on New York Fall weather we recommend layers appropriate for the temperatures. More importantly being outdoor attractions to wear proper footwear, no flip-flops, heels, wedges, etc. do to the uneven/rough terrain.
Can we wear costumes?
–Costumes or masks are NOT allowed for any guest.
Are there Restrooms available?
–Yes, there are portable restrooms available on site.
Is there food at Wood Creek Hollow?
–Yes at all events we will have local food vendors available with a wide variety to select from; for this reason, NO outside food or drinks allowed!
Are you open Halloween night?
–We sadly are not open on Halloween Night we are looking into making this a possibility for future years at this time.
